I thought it might be a good idea to start off with an explanation as to why I’m creating this platform. Here goes.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been a gear head. If I couldn’t own it, I’d lust after it. Skates, skateboards, mountainbikes, snowboards, the latest headphones, audio systems… You get the picture. This meant I would often read myself silly on each specific item (there was no internet back then) and would compare items to one another in order to figure which one I would have.

Later on in life, I started earning money and therefore started owning some of these objects and taking them on adventures. Still though, my search for the perfect piece of gear was never satisfied, and my search continued.

After years of thinking about it, and having already started writing reviews for other outdoor platforms, I thought it was time for me to start doing my own thing.
